Terms of service

By placing an order on thegathri.com you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; if anything is unclear, write to gathri.team@gmail.com.

Who you're buying from

Orders are sold directly by Gathri. We operate the website, take the payment, and ship the parcel.

What Gathri is

Gathri is an aggregator, not a manufacturer. Every item we sell is a finished product from a real local seller in our launch city, Indore. Each seller holds their own FSSAI registration; the item arrives in the seller's original sealed pack inside our courier mailer.

Prices and availability

Prices include applicable taxes and are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹). Availability depends on the seller's daily stock — an item shown as available may be flipped "sold out today" if the city-friend can't source it; if that happens after your payment goes through, that line is refunded automatically (the rest of your order ships as normal).

Use of the site

Use the site for genuine personal or gifting orders. Don't scrape the catalogue at scale, attempt unauthorised access, or use the brand-mark and copy elsewhere without our written permission.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-licensed payment gateway. We don't store your card details. UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets are all supported.

Liability

Our liability for any order is capped at the order amount actually paid. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (e.g. a delayed gift). Heritage food carries the seller's allergen information on the original pack — please check before consuming.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes go to courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Changes

We may update these terms as the business evolves. The current version is always the one on this page, dated below.
