Cancellation window
You can cancel an order any time before 9:00 IST the next morning after placing it. This is the moment the city-friend starts the seller-circuit pickup; after that the parcel is in motion and only the post-delivery returns process applies.
To cancel, email gathri.team@gmail.com with your order ID. You'll receive an email confirmation when the cancellation is registered + the refund initiated.
Refund timeline
Refunds are initiated to the original payment source within 5–7 business days of approval. Settlement to your bank or UPI app may add another 2–3 business days. We'll email you when the refund is initiated; your payment app will send a separate confirmation on receipt.
Auto-cancellation
Some orders are auto-cancelled by us and refunded in full:
- Pincode isn't serviceable by our courier partner
- Every item in your order is out of stock from the seller that day
- Payment was captured but our signature verification failed (fraud-protection edge case)
You'll always get an email explaining what happened with the refund timeline.
Refund method
Refunds always go back to the original payment source (the same UPI app / card / bank account you paid with). We don't issue store credit or alternative-instrument refunds in Phase 1.
